Spinach and Banana Smoothie

If there is any combination that I use more than bananas and spinach in smoothies, I can’t think of it. Frozen bananas are a staple at my house, and I love the bright green color and mild flavor that spinach contributes. (Not to mention the fact that my kids will happily eat a whole lot of spinach when it’s tossed into smoothies!)

Here’s a tip for you next time your spinach starts to wilt before you’re able to use all of it; just toss it in the freezer. Frozen spinach works perfectly in smoothies and freezing it makes it super easy to keep it on hand.
