Roasted Green Beans with Garlic

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch lengths
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt adjust to taste
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper adjust to taste
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh Italian parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter sliced into very thin pats
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Place the green beans on the baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper and toss to coat.
Roast the green beans for 16-20 minutes. If you want crisp edges, continue cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle with thyme and parsley. Taste and season with additional salt and pepper as needed.
Top with very thin pats of butter and serve warm.
