Romaine Salad
With little more than a head of romaine, a drizzle of oil and vinegar, and a sprinkling of salt and pepper, you can put together a company-worthy salad.

- 8 cups romaine lettuce thinly sliced into ribbons, about 2 heads of lettuce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons white balsamic vinegar or rice wine vinegar
- ½ teaspoon Maldon flaked sea salt adjust to taste
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper adjust to taste
Place the romaine in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice, and vinegar. Toss well to coat all of the lettuce. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss again and taste the salad. Adjust seasonings to taste.
Scoop into bowls and top each serving with a pinch more salt before serving.
