Ingredients

  • 6 uncooked bratwurst about 1½ pounds worth
  • 2 pounds baby potatoes halved
  • 1 pound green beans ends trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Place the brats, potatoes, and green beans on a large baking sheet. Combine the oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and stir to combine. Pour the oil mixture over the sausage and vegetables. Use your hands to stir the pieces around and make sure everything is well coated.
  • Roast for approximately 30-35 minutes, until the brats and the vegetables are hot and lightly browned on the edges.

Notes

Kielbasa or Polish Sausage may be substituted for the brats in this recipe, simply cut the bigger sausage into smaller sections. This recipe can easily be doubled. Simply use two sheet pans. Depending on how your oven cooks, you may want to rotate the pans halfway through the cooking time. Allow about 10 additional minutes cooking time for a doubled recipe.
