Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans ends trimmed
  • ½ teaspon kosher salt adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper adjust to taste

Instructions

  • Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add the green beans and return to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and drain off the water. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
