- ½ cup butter divided
- 6 large garlic cloves minced, about 2 tablespoons
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper OPTIONAL
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Add the remaining butter and pepper, if desired. Remove from the heat when the butter has melted. Serve immediately.
