Course: Side Dish
Cuisine: American
Servings: 4 servings
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1½ pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika or plain
- ½ teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon granulated onion or onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon crushed oregano
- ¼ teaspoon crushed thyme
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper OPTIONAL
Preheat your air fryer or oven to 400°F. Place the Brussels sprouts in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
Sprinkle with paprika, garlic, onion, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Toss to coat thoroughly.
Air Fryer Instructions
Place the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry the Brussels sprouts for 9-10 minutes.
If you are using a basket-style air fry, toss the basket after about 5 minutes for even cooking. The pieces should be slightly crisp and fork-tender when done. (Don't fret the charred bits, they're my favorite part!)
Alternatively, 2 teaspoons of your favorite Cajun seasoning blend may be substituted for all of the spices in this recipe. I love this homemade spice blend and keep it ready to go in the pantry.
