Cabbage Crunch Salad
Cabbage crunch salad is a super fresh, crunchy cabbage slaw in a beautifully balanced tart and slightly sweet dressing with a hint of nutty sesame and almond.
Servings: 4
Salad Ingredients
- 8 cups green cabbage sliced thin about 1/4" strips
- 4 green onions sliced very thin
- ¼ cup sliced almonds toasted
- 1 teaspoon black or white sesame seeds (I like to use both.)
Dressing Ingredients
- ¼ cup canola oil
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon agave syrup
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt to taste
Place the cabbage in a mixing bowl and set aside. Combine the oil, vinegar, agave, and salt in a small jar. Cover with lid and shake well to combine.
Drizzle the cabbage with the dressing and toss well to coat. Taste the cabbage and add salt, as needed. Add the onions, almonds, and sesame seeds to the bowl. Toss again to distribute.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
