1tablespoonolive oil
3clovesgarlicminced
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
¼teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
½teaspoonkosher salt
¼teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
1tablespoonbutter
1 tablespoon fresh Italian parsleyfinely chopped
Instructions
Steam the green beans in the microwave according to package instructions.
Combine the olive oil, garlic, Italian seasonings, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a skillet over medium heat. Heat until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Swirling the pan a couple of times as the spices warm.
Add the green beans, stir to coat them with the spices and garlic, and continue cooking for about 2 more minutes. Add a tablespoon of butter and stir to melt. Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
12 ounces of fresh green beans may be substituted for the frozen green beans in this recipe.
