Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges

Slightly crisp with soft sweet insides, air fryer sweet potato wedges dipped in ketchup are impossible to resist.

Ingredients 

  • 1 large sweet potato cut into wedges, about ¼-inch thick, about 10-12 ounces
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon plain or smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Place the sweet potato wedges in a large mixing bowl and spray with olive oil. Sprinkle generously with salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika. Toss to coat thoroughly.
  • Line the sweet potatoes up in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd them. (If there isn't room for the air to flow between them, they will not have crispy edges.)
  • Air fry the potatoes until they are fork tender, and then fry a bit longer to get a slightly crisp edge. This usually takes about 16-18 minutes. Use tongs to turn each wedge over halfway through the cooking time.
