Cajun Brussels Sprouts

Made in the oven or in the air fryer, these Cajun Brussels Sprouts are a crispy, flavorful snack or side dish.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika or plain
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon granulated onion or onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed thyme
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • teaspoon cayenne pepper OPTIONAL

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer or oven to 400°F. Place the Brussels sprouts in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle with paprika, garlic, onion, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Toss to coat thoroughly.

Air Fryer Instructions

  • Place the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry the Brussels sprouts for 9-10 minutes.
  • If you are using a basket-style air fry, toss the basket after about 5 minutes for even cooking. The pieces should be slightly crisp and fork-tender when done. (Don't fret the charred bits, they're my favorite part!)

Oven Instructions

  • Spread the Brussels sprouts across a large sheet pan in a single layer. Roast for 18-20 minutes. The pieces should be slightly crisp and fork-tender when done.

Notes

Alternatively, 2 teaspoons of your favorite Cajun seasoning blend may be substituted for all of the spices in this recipe. I love this homemade spice blend and keep it ready to go in the pantry.
