I didn’t mention cold rice in this particular recipe because this isn’t a fried rice recipe. You can make the dish exactly as written without pre-cooking and chilling the rice ahead of time. It’s a quick and easy vegetable rice side dish. I hope you enjoy it as much as the ground beef fried rice, Gail!
