Don’t encourage bullies by responding. Someone with a brain can search for a glaze recipe 😊

In reply to <a href="https://vegetablerecipes.com/roasted-carrots-and-beets/comment-page-1/#comment-5092">Jenna Smitch</a>.

Wow, Jenna. You're a real sweetheart. Since balsamic glaze can be purchased at the grocery store and most people typically do that, I didn't see a need to share a recipe. However, if you'd prefer to make your own, pour 2 cups of balsamic vinegar and about half a cup of brown sugar into a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to medium-low heat and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until the vinegar thickens and is reduced to about half a cup, this should take about 10 minutes. It should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

That said, 2 cups of decent balsamic vinegar will likely run a higher cost than a half cup of balsamic glaze, so use your own judgement as to whether or not it's worth the effort and time.

It's even easier than you think, Shannon. I just use a store-bought glaze. Easy as can be! I hope you love the beets!

Why didn't you include directions for the balsamic glaze? I'm a "newbie" and need more details, please! Going to try this anyway.
I also want to see if this will get me on team beets! They are a superfood I want to add to my diet.
